The Rector, Nigeria -Korea Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has on Monday, congratulated Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir as the Maigari of Lokoja noting that his emergence is a prevail of fairness and rightness.
The Rector sent his congratulatory message in a press which he personally signed where he noted that the announcement of Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir, the senior son of the late Maigari has brought relief to Lokoja city after several anxiety and anticipation.
The Rector said ‘’on behalf of our institution, myself and family, I wanted to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your recent appointment! Your emergence as the revered Maigari of Lokoja is truly deserving as you have shown a strong resemblance oF leadership and service to the people of the people’’. He added that the new Maigari just like his late father has always being a friend to all and sundry irrespective of their status, which was reflected in the very close relationship the late Maigari, Dr. Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi had with his father.
He noted that governor Bello has yet again shown leadership and strong character through his insistence that due process was followed without interference and that the will of the good people of Lokoja prevailed.
While wishing the newly appointed traditional ruler the wisdom required to lead the people, he also prayed for good health and wellbeing.
