Rector NKFI commiserates with Kogi state solid minerals commissioner over father’s demise

The Rector, Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has commiserated with the Kogi state Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Eng. Bashiru Gegu on the demise of his father Imam Abubakar Umar describing his death as painful and unfortunate.

In a press statement signed by the Rector on Wednesday he said that the demise of a dear father can be very painful however the Commissioner must take solace in the fulfilled and pious life the late father lived. Imam was a great community and religious leader who lived a good life and raised great children.

He said “on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic board, Management, staff and students of the NKFI, we commiserate with the entire family of our late father, particularly the honourable commissioner Eng. Bashir Gegu and the people of Kogi Local government Area. We urge that we take solace in such a moment while we reflect on his lives well spent”

The Rector prayed for the peaceful repose of the Imam Abubakar Umar while he prayed for God to grant ease and succour to those greatly hurt by his passing.
