THE CHIEF OF STAFF MOURNS THE DEMISE OF KOGI ASSEMBLY MEMBER, HON. JOHN ABBAH

Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku has expressed shock, over the death of Hon. John Abbah, who represented Ibaji Constituency at the state assembly.

Chief Asuku said he was saddened by his death, describing him as a dedicated and energetic man with total commitment and dedication to serving humanity.

In a statement made available by the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff, Abubakar Mujahid, indicates that the services of the late Hon. John Abbah to the house of assembly and state will be greatly missed.

The Chief of Staff eulogised the examplary leadership qualities of the deceased noting that his demise is indeed, a great loss to the state as he was dedicated to nation-building and committed to oneness and unity.

Abbah died yesterday in an Abuja hospital after a protracted illness. He is survived by his wife and children.

Until his demise, he was a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, an elder in the house.

Pharm. Asuku prayed to God to forgive his transgressions and reward his good deeds with paradise while calling on his immediate family, the good people of Ibaji, Kogi State House of Assembly, Kogi APC and his associates as well as friends to take solace in the fact that God gives and takes life.
