The Former Governor of Kaduna State Ahmed Makafi has promised to fight insecurity in the country head -on when voted into power as the president Federal Republic of Nigeria.
And condemned situations where farmers can no longer go to farm to harvest his/her crops for fear of being “Harvested” by kidnappers or Fulani’s herdsmen is worrisome and will not be tolerated under my watch when voted as Nigeria president.
The immediate past Chairman of the People’s Democratic party(PDP) made the promised today Wednesday 20th June,2018 at People’s Democratic Party Secretariat along Bukuru Road during his visit to plateau state to make his intentions know to vie for the position of President under the platform of (PDP).
He also added that aside insecurity which had reduced the country Nigeria hitherto referred to as the giant of Africa to “Banana Republic where farmers can no longer go to farm for the fear of either being kidnapped or killed by Fulani’s Herdsmen.
“when I become president ,I will ensured l reduced insecurity in Nigeria to the slowest minimum. Where we can move freely unmolested ,secured”he maintained.
On unemployment, Mkarafi lamented lack of job for the teeming graduates younths in the country but quick to point out that although the government may not provide jobs for all the unemployeds youth but government can provide conductive environment for the unemployed youth to discover his potentials.
” Although government cannot employed all unemployed teeming youths in the country, government can provide enabling environment for the them to discovered themselves. “
He berated the All Progressives Congress (APC) led government in Nigeria for not be able to embarked on any infrastructural development after spending over 3years in office as they still claim the infrastructures build by the last administration led by (PDP).
He promised to build on the successes of People’s Democratic Party as he said APC has drawn the country back.
He however advised the PDP Families to remained resolute in the faces of the present intimidation and persecution in the present fight against corruption by the APC government which he described as been one sided.
Responding the chairman of people’s Democratic Party in Plateau state, Hon.Damishi Sango showers accolades on the presidential aspirant for his resolutes stances against the former imposture chairman Amadu Sheriff and ensured he was showed the way out of the party through legal means.
Sango said Nigeria needs people like karafi to turned thing around in Nigeria.
