Protocol To President Buhari  Campaign Organization In 2015 , Dumps APC For PDP

The former Director of Protocol to President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2015 campaign organization in Plateau state has dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in plateau state.

Hon. Bartho, who was hitherto member of Board plateau state Road Maintenance Agency under Governor Bako Lalong led administration, also relinquish his appointment.

In his resignation letter dated the 13th of August, 2018, written to the Executive Governor of plateau State Simon Bako Lalong ,and made available to this medium in JOS, Hon. Bartho, said  his resignation is sequel to his new appointment as the Director-General of Dr. Godfrey Bawa Shitgurum’s Gubernatorial Campaign Organization  under  the platform of  Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In this letter of resignation, copied to the Chairman of the PDP Plateau state ,Hon.Damishi Sango and copied to his PDP Ward at Shendam Central Ward “B”, made available to our correspondence read in part:

“Sir, in the light of the above development therefore, it becomes inevitable and imperative for me to resign my appointment as Board Member of Plateau state Roads Maintenance Agency in accordance with the provision of the Law.

The letter further state that,

“Consequently, I wish to further notify you of my withdrawal from the All Progressives Congress (APC), to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Hon.Bartho however thanked Governor lolang for given him the opportunity to serve in that capacity.

“I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the Executive Governor and the Government of Plateau State for the opportunity  given to me to serve in that capacity.”

Hon. Bartho is the second  person said to have resigned his appointment with the ruling APC administration in Plateau state within the space of a month after Hon. Sabiu Musa who left back to his former party African Democratic Party (ADC).
