President Muhammad Buhari has ordered for immediate commencement of the proposed great Dutse water project at Sintilmawa abandoned for several years.
The president made the directive yesterday when he paid a courtesy visit on Emir of Dutse Alh Nuhu Muhammad Sanusi on his two days official visit to Jigawa State.
The president ordered the honourable Minister of water resources Suleiman Adamu Kazaure to immediately take action for actualization of the project.
The directives follows the request of the
Emir of Dutse Alh Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi on his welcome address,he said the water project when completed will provides portable water to the people of Dutse metropolis and beyond.
The Emir also advice President Muhammad Buhari not surrender or relent on his dogged fight against corruption, insecurity and drugs abuse.
He describing the corruption as biggest evil sluggish the development of Nigeria and Africa in general.
” the fighting against corruption, terrorism drug abuse and economic recovery which are the hallmark of president Buhari government are re-kindling hope for establishment of prosperous and strong future Nigeria”
“certainly corruption and it’s evil associate will resist and tried to fight back with all force, malice, blackmail ” therefore I urged Mr president not surrender or retire from the war”.
The emir also commended president Buhari for the executing various projects in the state which include Shuwarin- Kano road, railway, and power project.
