Jos the Plateau state capital is wearing an exceptional new look, this is as the president Mohammadu Buhari’s admiral’s are eagerly waiting to give Mr President arousing welcome.
While in jos,the president is expected to Commission various projects executed and completed by Governor Bako Lalong across the 17 LG of the state.
As against the backdrop,the Buhari Campaign Organization ,(BCO) has mobilized one million man-march welcome Mr President to the home of peace and tourism in Nigeria.
The Buhari Campaign Organisation”BCO “National Coordinator ,Hon Danladi Pasali eulogized Simon Bako Lalong and President Muhammadu Buhari as silent achievers and rescue ambassador that came from political obscurity to emerge victorious as Governor under the APC ticket in 2015.
According to Pasali ,”At a time when Plateau is looking for a nationalistic leader, Simon Bako LALONG has stepped up to the challenge as he has build bridges across the Niger, he has ensured that peace is maintained and sustained on the Plateau,He is resolute that Plateau is a miniature NIGERIA that accommodates all tribes and religion devoid of sentiments or segregation. Lalong has ensured that workers are paid regularly, he is amongst the best Governors that are not owing workers at the moment”.
He explained further that Lalong cleared backlog of Salaries, pension and gratuities, little wonder he has been christened “The Alert Governor” by civil servants in the state.
He maintained ,His love for youths and Sports has spurred him into supporting Plateau United to a historic win of the Premier league title and a continental ticket glory. He has continued unfinished projects from previous administration, he is revitalizing the Jos International Breweies (JIB) Lalong has boosted the Tourism and hospitality industry with series of peace concerts and carnivals that attract influx of tourists to the state providing a platform for Jos based artists alongside superstars. He has started the process of reclaiming BARC FARMS, a heritage of Plateau that was sold.
He is rebuilding the Jos Main Market and working tirelessly on completing the Zaria road stadium. He is revamping the highland Bottling company at Barking Ladies to mention a few of the numerous projects embarked upon by the rescue Governor. Governor LALONG has entrenched his personality and good image of the state in the good books of Mr President and the ruling party at the federal level.
