PDP National Chairman Meets Bunu Ijumu Leaders, Begs For Automatic Ticket For Dino

Another meeting of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus, held with Kabba Bunu Ijumu federal constituency leaders over automatic ticket for Sen. Dino Melaye have also hit the rock.

Prince Uche Secondus, who led the PDP National working Committee Members, to beg the people of Kabba Bunu Ijumu stakeholders and aspirants at all levels to accept automatic ticket for Dino Melaye for Senate and Hon. T. J. Yusuf for House of Representatives ended in a deadlock.

The Meeting was held at the instance of the NWC of the PDP, was attended by all aspirants into the house of Representatives and the State House of Assembly, was held at the legacy House Maitama.

The delegation from Kabba Bunu Ijumu federal constituency was led by Prince Shola Akanmode, the former Chief of Staff to the Vice President Office.

Commenting on the desperation of the Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus to force Dino Melaye on Kogi West people, one of the aspirants who preferred to remain anonymous counselled the chairman to stop playing God on the issue of Kogi West Senate, pointing out that absolute power belonged to God.

He counselled him to as a Christian read the holy Bible: Ecclesiastes Chapter 12 verses 13 and 14 which reads ” Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter, fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of a man, for God shall bring all works into judgement, including those things done in the secret and the open”

According to the aspirant ” if you can not enforce the terms of the MoU in Rivers, Enugu, Bayelsa, Benue , Kwara  and most PDP controlled state,” urged the National Chairman to respect the culture and the dynamics of the local politics in Kogi West and Kogi State as a whole.

The aspirant warned that the NWC should leave Kogi people to determine who represents them, says any attempt at imposition would be suicidal for the PDP.
