Lalong Beef Up Security Ahead Of President Buhari’s Visit To Plateau State

The Plateau Government has beefed up security ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari one day scheduled visit to the state for the commissioning of completed projects and Town Hall meeting with critical stakeholders .

The State Commissioner for information and Communication ,Mr Yakubu Dati disclosed this to journalists during a press conference held at Joseph Gwomwalk secretariat on Friday 2nd March,2018.

The Commissioner said the one Day visit of Mr President to Plateau state was towards commissioning of all the completed projects across the 17 local government areas of Plateau State, and also for town hall meeting with the All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders .

Dati stressed that there are ongoing projects across all the LGAs which Mr president will commission which includes:, Rantya ,State and Federal Low-cost,Dong ,second flyover around secretariat junction and Revenue House with numerous roads projects before retiring to meeting with the party stalwart.

“You would recalled ,Governor Simon Bako Lalong appointed ,Hon Yakubu Dati to replaced the position of Mohammed Nazif who is now in charge of Transport ministry yesterday 1st March, 2019 at Government House Little Rayfield ,Jos”.

According to him ,his appointment as the commissioner is to consolidate on his predecessor achievements in maintaining the existing peace in Plateau state.

Yakubu Dati solicited the cooperation of media organizations on the Plateau in projecting the achievement of the amiable achiever whose projects littered across the 3 senatorial districts with adequate plan on ground .

He explained government plan to disseminate vital information on Lalong progress within two and half in promoting unity in diversity including confidence building among the people of the state.
