Primary and secondary school students in Sabon Tasha, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, on Tuesday embarked on a protest against the State Governor, Nasir El Rufai’s plans to sack thousands of teachers.
It would be recalled that the governor had announced that he would recruit 25, 000 to replace over 21,000 teachers who failed the competency test conducted by the state government.
It was gathered that pupils of Local Education Authority, Kawo, Kaduna North Local Government area had on Monday started the protest.
