Former member of the Federal House of Reps from 1999 to 2003 and Secretary to Kogi State Government from 2003 to 2007, Hon. Shola Ojo has withdrawn his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party at his Odole Ward 1 in Mopa/Amuro Local Government Area of Kogi state.
Hon. Ojo in a Letter addressed to the Chairman of the party at his ward said his withdrawal was due to personal reason and wished the party success in its future undertaking.

Our reporter learnt that his resignation may not be unconnected with the way and manner Senator Dino Melaye was alleged to have hijacked the party delegates list which gave him, Dino, an edge over other contestants during the party primary that was held in Lokoja a few weeks ago.
