Information received so far showed the All Progressive Congress’ candidate, Kayode Fayemi in a clear lead.
The result coalition which commenced on Saturday through Sunday morning showed the APC winning most of the Local government areas of the state.
The keenly contested election, which featured about thirty contestant from different political parties is seen as one of the most competitive gubernatorial election in the state, since inception.
Residence of the state and political stake holders now awaits the official declaration of the winner.
