Director General, Consumer Protection Council , Babatunde Irukera, has congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In his message to Muslim Umma, Irukera urged them to continue in the practice of Prayers and fasting, as it is what the nation needs now and always.
While wishing them a happy Eid-el-Fitr, he congratulated them for life and strength to complete this years Rahmadan and witness the celebration.
“To our fathers and mothers; brothers and sisters who have just come through Ramadan, congratulations again for life and strength to conclude another religious obligation in another year
“ The discipline and separation involved in fasting, as well as prayers are exactly what our nation needs now and always. May the spiritual sensitivity that comes with the presence of God lead and direct us to our good places, and our nation to a great destiny.
He added, You have a right to be respected and satisfied with, and in what you buy, consume, or use during this period. Every right creates an obligation in someone else. Manufacturers and service providers have the duty to respect your right.#DemandAndInsist, it’s the primary enforcement tool and mechanism.
