Chairmanship Aspirant in Kogi promises job creation

    A chairmanship aspirant for Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Hon  Abdulraman Danasabe,  has said his priority would be job creation and empowerment of the youths, women and the artisans in the area if given the opportunity.

    Hon Danasabe made the pledge while speaking with pressmen in Lokoja recently, said as an astute business man and grassroots politician, he would employ his vast experience to harness the untapped abundant resources in the Local Government for its development.

    He said he would empower youths through his skill acquisition programmes if he emerged as Ajaokuta Council Boss.

    The chairmanship hopeful who is aspiring under the platform of APC told journalists that he was driven by his passion for the people to seek the elective office.

    Hon Danasabe expressed confidence in God and the people of the area, saying with God on his side and the support of the party leaders, he “stands the chance of emerging as the party’s flag bearer.”

    On his major priority, he said “If elected, I want to empower the youths through skills acquisition, assist our women with soft loans to improve their businesses and harness the untapped abundant resources in the Local Government for its development.

    “Ajaokuta Local Government is rich and if we are able to harness its abundant resources, we don’t need to depend on what comes from the federation account.

    “We appeal to politicians to play by the rules of the game as power belongs to God. We must play the game according to the tenets of democracy, which is politics without bitterness,” he concluded.
