The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Iyorchia Ayu, has been suspended by Ward Executives of PDP in Igyorov ward, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State.
The Ward Executives suspended Ayu for alleged anti-party activities
This was contained in a suspension letter being signed by twelve of the Igyorov Ward Executives.
According to the letter, Ayu and his loyalists worked against the PDP which resulted to the poor performance of the party in the ward and local government area.
It was also alleged that the National Party Chairman, Ayu, did not vote during the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly that took place on the 18th of March; 2023.
Ayu was also accused of not paying his annual dues as enshrined in the party’s constitution.
