Kogi State House of Assembly on Friday impeached the state’s former embattled Deputy governor, Elder Simon Achuba after it received the report of the investigative panel that was set up by the legislative arm.
The impeachment exercise took place at the State Assembly Chamber in Lokoja.
In other report, the Assembly have also received the nomination of Honourable Edward Onoja by the State Governor as the replacement for the erstwhile number two citizen of the state.
The nominated candidate is expected to appear before the Assembly Members for screening
