kogi Govt Expresses Satisfaction With Level Of Ongoing projects At CUSTECH Campus

Kogi State Government has expressed satisfaction with the level of the ongoing projects at the Campus of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara.

The State Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Mr Wemi Jones stated this while receiving delegations from the Ministry of Works and Housing and the office of the Auditor General to inspect the ongoing rehabilitation, renovation and supply of materials at the University campus.

Speaking during the visit, Commissioner said the essence of the inspection was to confirm and verify the compliance of the Contractors with specifications as well as to ascertain the level of completion.

Mr. Jones noted that the work was almost at the completion stage, assuring that the University will soon commence full academic activities.

The Commissioner added that the University will soon receive the final approval from the National University Commission for the smooth take off of the University.

The project Consultant, Tech Builders, Islameen Etudaiye maintained that the Joint site inspection by the three relevant ministries was timely, stressing that it enable them to capture what were not on ground at the point of implementation.

Mr. Etudaiye assured that contractors will adhere strictly to specifications as indicated in the bill, saying the projects will be completed within the stipulated time.
