The Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom has been served and impeachment notice by Some lawmakers of the State House of Assembly today.
According to reports by Channels TV, the lawmakers who served the impeachment notice on the state governor are the eight All Progressives Congress members of the House.
The spokesperson for the eight lawmakers while interacting with journalists noted that the House has commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Ortom on the allegations of diversion of state funds and abuse of office.
