17 APC Lawmakers Pass Vote Of Confident On Governor Bako Lalong ,As PDP Members Stages Walk Out

17 All Progressive Congress party ( APC) members who form majority in the Plateau State House of Assembly has pass vote of confidence on Barr. Simon Bako Lalong.

The vote of confidence is anchored on the governor’s five pillars policy which includes peace, human capital development,agriculture,health and education.

The motion was moved on Tuesday 27th February, 2018 at the floor of the House during plenary by Hon.Baba Hassan ,member representing jos North- North local government in Plateau State House of Assembly.

Moving the motion on the floor of the House, Hon.Baba Hassan said “Mr Speaker,considering the monumental achievement of Governor Bako Lalong as the governor of Plateau State, in the area of Peace, Human Capital Development, agriculture, early distribution of fertilizers to farmers and recalled of the sacked teachers by the pass administration of Jonah David Jang, I move that a vote of confidence be pass on the governor, Simon Bako Lalong”.

Majority leader seconded the motion, while the impeached former Deputy Speaker Hon. Yusuf Gadi representing Kantana constituency in the House of Assembly urgued the Lawmakers to give the governor an ultimatum of (30)days to declare his intention to the people of plateau state to recontest for governorship in 2019.

Hon.Gadi re- echoes the achievements of governor lalong as earlier enumerated by Hon.Baba Hassan to includes :,health, road construction and ultimately, transparency in spending funds from federation allocation.

Meanwhile,the opposition party at the House of Assembly, were seen hastily moving out from the hall as the APC members singing the praises on Governor Bako Lalong,as all efforts to speak to any of the PDP Members proved unsuccessful.

Earlier ,the Lawmakers has screened the names of the 21 Commissioners nominees presented before the House by the Governor.
All the nominees however went through the formalities of” bow and go.”
