Gov Bello to Know His Fate By March, 16, 2018

The case of the Electorates Vs. GYB challenging his eligibility to contest in Kogi State as governor, came up at the Federal High Court Abuja today with the motion for amendment of one of the reliefs sought by the petitioners granted with Judgement expected to be delivered finally on 16, March, 2018.
The amendment sought by the petitioners and the relief which was granted read thus :-
“A declaration that the 1st Defendant (GYB) was not a qualified candidate for  sponsorship by the 2nd Defendant (APC) having not been a registered voter and/or nominated by registered voters in Kogi State. “
According to one of the petitioners lawyer he however said it is not correct that the declaration that Gov Yahaya Bello was not qualified to contest was not granted today, said the final judgment would be delivered on 16, March, 2018 following the adoption of all the written addresses by both parties.
It would be recalled that some electorates have instituted against Gov Bello, over his eligibility to contest in Kogi State having not been registered in Kogi State.
