NSCDC  Arrested 10 jobs Racketeers, Child Trafficers

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) plateau state command has arrested 10 persons all male who specialize in the issuance of Fake Custom employment letters to vulnerable jobs seekers.

The command recovered the materials which they use in carrying out the illicit business from the jobs raketeers which includes ,photo copy machine ,laptop ,official seal and other materials they use to perfect their illegal business.

The Commandant NSCDC plateau state command Solomon Olasupo revealed this in an interview with a  section of journalists  at the command newly acquired Headquarters  close to Air force Boys military school in jos ,plateau state.

Solomon said in an effort by the Nigerian Security and civil Defense Corps(NSCDC) plateau state command  ensure criminal free state ,has cracked down syndicate who specialize in the business of child trafficking and the child about to be traffic resued and the trafficker will soon appear in court for prosecution.

The commandant stressed that the command  is  set to open Peace Research Center  Library where all the students studying peace related courses in our higher institution of learning would be coming for researches.

He said the research center which was named after the Governor of Plateau state, Simon Bako lalong ” Lalong Peace Research Library “is to compliment the  efforts of  Governor Bako lalong peace building process in plateau state.

Olasupo further said he had written to the university of Ibadan(UI) the first institution in Nigeria which started the study of peace related courses in Nigeria university, to come for grand accessment and donate peace related books to kick-start the library.

He further added that the center  also has a conference hall which has the capability to accommodate over 1000 persons named after the Commandant General of  NSCDC ” Abdullahi Gana Mohammadu Conference Hall ”

He  thanked the Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps(NSCDC) Abdullahi Gana Mohammadu for his support and love for plateau state which is helping to propel the activities in plateau state command.

He however appeal to  organizations, non governmental organizations(NGO’s)and spiritual individuals to come and partner with this laudable projects of Peace building towards donating peace related materials for the center.

The Commandant further added that in the period under review, the command was also able to settled not fewer than 300 disputes, and recovered over 7million naira through dialogues and understanding between the parties involved.
