2019: Saraki urges Plateau delegates to vote for a visionary leader

Presidential candidate under the People’s Democratic party (PDP), Senator Bukola Saraki ahead of 2019 general election, has urged party delegates in plateau to vote wisely for a leader with vision, who was capable and understood how to move the nation forward.

He similarly expressed that Nigeria as a country deserved a leader whom everyone would be proud of.

The Senate President said this at the People’s Democratic party (PDP) Secretariat along Bukuru Road in JOS the plateau state capital when his campaign team visited the state.

Bukola Saraki who is aspiring for the seat of the President , is the current President of the 8th Assembly and represents Kwara State central at the upper chamber.

Saraki warned against the repetition of past mistake which brought the enthronement of unpopular Candidate as the president of Nigeria in the last general election pointing out that the resultant effect was the current experience of the country today.

The Senate President further stressed that as elections were fast approaching, there was a need to change the current narrative of a one sided government to such which would be all accomodating and inclusive as the Nation belongs to everyone.

He stated that Plateau state was fortunate to have produced a presidential candidate, Dr. Jonah David jang, he however reiterated that in the country ‘s polity, youthful energy was required to withstand the country’s political pressure.

He further noted that Nigeria needs a leader who was courageous and would not be afraid because he stands on the part of truth adding that such candidate was Him.
