NOTICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC
I, Umar Yakubu Ali wish to state that, Hon. Umar Ahmed Imam, Member Lokoja I Constituency and the Minority Whip of the House has dissociated himself from the purported impeachment of the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Alh. Momoh Jimoh Lawal, which took place today outside the Assembly Complex. He was never at any point in time, part of their meeting and so never agreed to any of their resolution. He further stated that the signature appended to his name on No. 17 of the list was forged, an act he considered criminal and desperate. He therefore, pledges his support to the status quo as it was before today and recognizes Rt. Hon. Momoh Jimoh Lawal as the Speaker of the 6th Assembly as at today 10th of December, 2015.
