Rector NKFI felicitates with Prof. Abubakar Mohammed over new appointment

The Rector Nigeria -Korea Friendship Institute, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has extended felicitations to his close associates and recently appointed Director, Global Institute of Infectious and Disease Control of Federal University Lokoja, Professor Mohammed Abubakar.
The Rector in a press statement on Friday signed by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Ademola Emmanuel described the appointment of the Lokoja born and revered academia as a testament of his immense contributions to knowledge in his field and his capacity to add value to the University community in his new capacity.
He pointed out that being friends and classmates from secondary school, Prof Bukar has often distinguished himself excellently and his appointment was not only well deserved but a very  good step towards many more good things to happen for the host community of the university.
The Rector affirmed that worthy of note is Prof. Abubakar’s interest and passion for the development of Lokoja Local Government exemplified through his scholarly contribution on  several platforms notable amongst which is the Lokoja LGA Stakeholders Forum, Lokoja First Advocacy Group and many others, where he has diligently served the interest of his community.
While thanking the new Director for deciding to return home to further contribute his quota to developing his community, the Rector extended gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, Federal University Lokoja, Professor Akinwumi for the roles he played in bringing Professor Abubakar home to contribute after spending several years in diaspora.
While the Rector expressed confidence in the capacity of the astute researcher to justify his competence on his new role, he prayed for God to guide him as he undertook his new task in a bid to further enrich humanity with his knowledge and bring probable solutions to areas of concerns.
